Kooheji Development, a leading real estate developer, required a modern, responsive, and user-friendly website that would showcase its portfolio of projects while reinforcing its premium brand image. I collaborated with another company’s development team to deliver the website using WordPress, ensuring scalability, performance, and ease of content management.
The main challenges in this project included translating a highly customized Figma design into a responsive WordPress website, developing custom widgets for real estate listings and news, and implementing advanced web development features such as bilingual support, project filtering, and interactive animations. These requirements went beyond standard WordPress themes and plugins, demanding a more tailored and scalable approach.
To address these challenges, I built a custom WordPress theme to ensure pixel-perfect design implementation, created custom widgets and post types using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) for easy content management, and developed interactive features with JavaScript and jQuery. I also integrated WPML for multi-language support, optimized performance with caching and image compression, and ensured a modular, future-proof structure that allows the client to scale and manage content seamlessly.
